今回のクリスマスソングはイギリスのSSW,Roy Wood率いるWizzardが1973年に送り出したヒット曲♬I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everydayをピックアップします。
ロイ・ウッドといえば僕は大好きなELOのメンバーとして知ったのですが，その前のThe MoveそれからこのWizzard〜ソロといつの時代も卓越したソングライティングでヒット曲を世に送り出しました。
奇抜なメイクでいつも楽しませてくれますが、ギターをはじめピアノ、シンセサイザー、ベース、ドラムス、チェロ他１０種類以上の楽器をこなすマルチプレイヤーとしても有名ですね。

今回取り上げました♬I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everydayも抜群のポップセンス満載で多くのミュージシャンにもカヴァーされてますし、僕もクリスマスシーズンには必ず聴きたくなる定番曲です！
